Early Fitchburg Railroad lantern with the original Blue / Green glass globe. It doesn't look a true blue nor a true green. The globe is not chipped or cracked. Raised FRR letters on the globe (see Pic). The lantern fram is marked Stream Guage Rochester NY. The insert is glass and it looks like two wicks coming out of the top of the burner. The collar of the burner hasan 1870's pat date. The top of the lantern frame is brass. The bell bottom is rusty. The lantern has Fitchburg on both the top and the bottom (see Pic) Buyer pays $12.50 ins included
