Pretty antique Chantilly type lace shawl with an elaborate naturalistic design of graceful floral sprays, scrollwork, chains of flowers and diverse other decorative elements, very beautiful but not without flaws as is evident in the close-up photos. There are a number of small breaks, mostly confined to the background mesh, but overall strong and wearable and displays well, measures 106 x 44 inches.
