Presented for your consideration is this very old BACON BANJO with paper label and branded mark that reads THE BACON BANJO CO INC "BANJOS OF QUALITY" GROTON CONNECTICUT PAT PEND - serial# 14733 - very heavy high quality 4 string banjo just found in an estate - 32" long 11" drum 13" maple backplate - has great sound and is in very good condition except someone has painted the fret board and top of the neck (see pictures) there are also a couple grooves in the top 2 frets - Nice and solid, no cracks and neck seems to be straight - heaviest banjo I have ever lifted (about 9 pounds) - comes w/what seems to be the original case - buyer pays actual shipping cost - see pictures - NO RESERVE
