The frame has been constructed from a HUGE, unbelievably GORGEOUS and ornate
authentic late 1800's era antique Victorian ceiling tin tile
that was removed from the ceiling of an old Woolworths store in Detroit, Michigan.
A photo taken in the late 1800s of the front of the store can be seen in the last photo below.
This huge, gorgeous frame is the perfect setting for
the large 36" wide mirror, which will not only reflect but accentuate the beauty of your home!
The gorgeous, chippy antique white frame has been fabulously distressed to show the ornate embossed details on the awesome old tin, giving it the perfect touch of timeless elegance, and a wonderful warm patina that can only come with age. Because of the unique qualities of each antique ceiling tin tile used, the level of chippiness and distressing, depth of the embossing and the pattern on the tin may vary from frame to frame, but all tins used will have a pattern similar to the antique tin shown in the photos below.
