I just purchased a large lot of antique and vintage Sterling Silver cutlery, so I had to get it on right away, while I have the other 40+ lots of silver running. These auctions will end on Nov. 20th, a Thursday night, not my normal night for ending, so please get your bids in early, and don't miss out at the end. This is an excellent lot of Sterling Silver flatware serving pieces, including 3 Gorham pieces and an International piece. I will detail the Gorham pieces first. So first is a very large butter spreader measuring approx 8" long, next is a pierced Olive Spoon, measuring 6" long, and a very dainty ladle measuring 4-3/4 long. The International ladle measures 5" long and all the pieces together weigh 90 grams. The condition is excellent, I am certain the new owner will be very pleased, and it would make excellent additions to any Sterling collection or some very special gifts. Mixing and matching antique cutlery is all the rage in the decorating magazines and I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !! Also please remember the items are coming from Canada, so if you are in the US, shipping may seem a little higher than normal, but we charge actual shipping or less, and never charge a handling fee or extra for shipping supplies and professional packaging. Insurance:
The first $100 of insurance is included in the shipping price. If your item sells for more than $100, insurance is mandatory and costs $3.00 per $100 or part there of, to a maximum of $20. This covers both loss and damage.
Returns:
We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating is significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must be made within 3 days of delivery confirmation.
