This is a vintage parlor guitar which was purchased earlier this year. This guitar has the most beautiful wood-grain (I was told that it was rosewood...not sure). The guitar is most likely from the last 1920's or early 30's by virtue of the v-neck design. The guitar has it's original case that is equally as wonderful with a great antique western motif, and in great condition. The guitar may have had the bridge reset, and there are some lines in a few places (age cracking?...not bad though). There are some numbers on the top of the neck, and the work HUB faintly on the top of the head. This is really a super find! The large photo below shows this vintage guitar in detail. The guitar is sold as found, as photoed below. There is no reserve, and buyer will pay shipping and a nominal packaging fee.
On Oct-10-08 at 02:58:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Dimensions (roughly within a 1/4") - From the top of the nut to the bottom of the far side of the bridge is 25 1/2 inches. The fretboard alone if 16 3/8 inches. The widest part of the guitar is 12 1/4 inches. The entire guitar is 37 1/2 inches long. The width of the guitar is 3 3/4 inches thick. The height if the strings at the 12th fret is about 1/4 inches (roughly without really tightening them up too much.). The the neck is across the very top of the fret board (nearest to the headstock) is about 2 inches, and the lower fret on the fret board widens to 2 1/2 inches. Great little guitar. Thanks for your questions.........sleighbell
