Up for Auction this antique, Japanese, Moriage, floral Vase. It is skillfully hand painted and trimmed in gold gild. There is a delicate beaded and decorative scroll moriage trim around the neck, shouders and base of this piece. the two gold arm and ring handles are decorated in a two tone gold in a swirl motif on each side. There has been a very well done repair to this piece. We have included a very detailed photo (as found in the 12th photo included). It actually looks worse in the photo than in real life. Other than that this piece is perfect and mint. It is fully marked on the bottom with the Nippon Morimura mark. Nippon, means Japan and piece marked with Nippon are PRE- 1920's, after the 1920's they changed them to Japan. This vase is pictured (althoght the floral decoration is slightly diffent) on page 210 and on page 289 of Van patten's Nippon Porcelain identification and value guide, the piece in the book had a value of between $900 and $1,050.00 in 2005. It is quite large and measures 9 1/2" tall x 8".

-If you win more than one item I will send you a combined shipping invoice with an adjusted shipping amount at the end of the auction. This is based on actual weight and can substantially save you allot of money in shipping costs.
- I require insurance on all of my items. I take great care in packaging each item to avoid breakage. Unfortunately, items do get damaged during shipping. If this should happen, the address label on the front of the package is bar coded with the proper insurance information. Please keep the original box (with the label) packing material, a copy of the ebay auction and bring them to your local post office, they will help you fill out a claim form for the damage. This does not often happen but it is better to be safe than sorry.
