You are bidding on an all-original antique solid brass porthole. Approximate measurements are 10” in diameter, 1 ½” mounting plate to inside edge, 7” opening diameter. The glass is about 6 7/8” in diameter and has no cracks, scratches, or chips.  The door has 2 heavy brass hinges and is secured with a threaded swivel dog. It is cast with the number “7” on the inside mounting plate. Mounts with 8 ¼” screws or bolts. Weight ~ 9 pounds.

The exact age of this piece is unknown, but it was found in the attic of a man who died around 1950. With an opening bid of US$9.95 and NO HIDDEN RESERVE, this vintage maritime collectable should find a home.
