MISSOURI ANTIQUES PRESENTS:
- ANTIQUE
- EARLY AMERICAN
- SIDE CHAIR
- PEGGED
- LATE 1700'S - EARLY 1800'S
You are bidding on a wonderful old Early American
chair. This chair is made of a mix of solid woods which is typical of a
piece of furniture from this era. There appears to be some walnut and
chestnut for sure, but it is very hard to tell.
The chair is very heavy built with a solid plank
seat which is joined to the chair frame on each side by pegs, see pics.
The chair is very sturdy and solid and can be used for everyday in your
home.
The chair looks great, but as you would expect
from a piece of this age it does have some small nicks and dings. The
chair overall condition is very good and I see no repairs.
The chair measures 19" wide x 19" deep x 32"
tall. The height from the seat to the floor is 17 1/2".
Don't miss out on this beautiful old chair, bid
now.
