We employ the Giclee (Zhe-clay) method in creating our canvas reproductions. Giclee is a French term which means "spray". In the printing process, this denotes the spraying of ultra microscopic dots of ink onto the canvas. The end result is vivid color and stunning detail accuracy. This magnificent reproduction allows enough border beyond the image for stretching and framing. We do not offer stretching and framing, as this drastically increases the cost of the item as well as the cost of shipping. We do, however, include well illustrated stretching and alternative mounting instructions.
IS IT DIFFICULT TO STRETCH & MOUNT CANVAS?
The answer is NO! You can purchase stretcher bars at most arts and crafts or art supply stores. They're quite inexpensive and come in varying widths and lengths. The simple instructions shipped with the canvas will illustrate how to stretch and staple your canvas to the bars.
