Flemish Folk Pyrography Art ?

Here is a great piece very large 14 X 17 signed and dated (see pictures) Date puts this piece at 1909.

signed & dated:   J.F. Shumway Jan. 1909

This has a great picture of a Native American Indian.

Piece is 14x17 the center circle with the portrait is 12x12 a great piece of history.
