Rare, highly sought after, midcentury Baker Furniture Down Filled 17c England Drop Arm Style Daybed Sofa Chaise. Beautiful form and a faithful reproduction of what high society was using in 1635.
This a fantastic creation by one of America's premier furniture makers and in very good condition. When you buy Baker you buy the best. The heavy duty spring support system pings like a basketball if you slap it from the top or bottom. Extremely tight and supportive made to the highest level of materials and construction no longer available anywhere today! You will sink so softly into the soft down feathers and come to rest gently on the supportive spring system as you and your guests relax and enjoy the moments.
The upholstery is rich and original in very good condition showing only minor use wear and smoke free. The drop arms are tied up with the original tasseled ropes from Baker. The sides are in the style of a drop arm sofa but they are permanently fixed in the up position. You can lean as hard as you want on the sides and they won't give. The whole sofa is very strong and completely reliable.

SHIPPING DETAILS:
Shipping includes a custom crate attached to a wooden pallet. Your crated item is sent to the nearest pick up terminal to your zipcode. There are hundreds of pick up terminals in the USA and 90% of them are within 30 miles of your home. This item is too large for Greyhound service. We ship within 5 business days and most people are using there items in 1 to 2 weeks.
We will email you your when your item leaves our warehouse with a tracking number so you can track your shipment online. The pick up terminal will call you when your item arrives at their location. Just send a pickup truck or box truck to the terminal and they will load the crate onto your vehicle. You can then drive it home safely to unpack it.
