LOVELY LARGE SUGAR BOWL
Lovely large antique porcelain sugar bowl measuring 7" tall and 5-1/2" wide. Featuring a bulbous shape with applied loop handles and molded rope detailing, it is decorated in a pretty pastel floral scene of apple blossoms in yellow, pink and blue with geranium leaf accents. Removeable lid has a bar finial attached with rope twist molded arms. Simply marked 2050 78, it dates to around the turn of last century or slightly earlier, and is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or discoloration -- slight loss to gold trim that does not detract in the least. Large enough to serve as a cracker jar, it is creamy white with lovely soft pastel transfer and hand painted accents - pretty addition to any collection or home!
