Fantastic early 19c Federal Recamier in very good condition. Fancy oversized model with Flame Mahogany veneered frame and studded upholstery.
Would have been created for a very large person of that era or perhaps to accomodate two persons. Surely was tightened a few times over the last 100 plus years. The chaise is now sturdy and reliable and you can lay and lounge in it.
Was last reupholstered midcentury 60s or 70s to the best of our ability to detect. A very fabulous and cushy comfortable authentic antique recamier. You and your lounge will look like a million bucks together!
