You are bidding on a very fine all original Heintz Art Metal Shop Sterling on Bronze Art Nouveau type designed Vase. Heintz took over this company in 1906 and changed its name to the Heintz Art Metal Shop where it remained in business until 1930.

This vase measures 8" H x 3.25 D", with a rolled open top. The piece is clearly stamped on the base with the Heintz Art Metal Shop initials, "Sterling on Bronze," 3591 C and Patent dated August 27, 1912. This represents the date the patent for this design was applied for and not the date the piece was actually made.

The piece is in overall very fine condition and retains it original patina which has aged very well. The piece has never been "cleaned or refinished" and is all original. There are no dents or bruises on the vase. There are some age wear marks which is very common with this type finish. There is a classic art nouveau lilly type design on the body of the piece which has been shown in two of the smaller photos. If you have any questions please ask them before bidding and not after.

This is a really early beautiful piece of  Heintz Art Metal work and is better than can be shown in any photo.
