Japanese sword tanto, aikuchi dagger K-Y 25

This is Japanese tanto in aikuchi mountings.  The blade is unsigned, shinogi-zukuri shape tanto, looks muromachi period 1550 era made.  The blade is in old polish, has light scratches and tiny stain but in good condition.  The temper line is wavy gunome with ko-nie active temper throughout the blade and long turn back temper at the point.  The forging is tight ko-mokume hada and no forging flaws.  There is no bend, no nicks, no rust, no crack and the cutting edge is razor sharp.  It is mounted in urushi  lacquered inro-kizami finish scabbard.  The handle is shark skin covered handle and no menuki.  The blade measures 12  1/8" cutting edge, 7/8" width at the notch and 19 3/4" in mountings.   Shipping is $10 priority in U.S and $35 overseas via express mail.
