CURTA TYPE I CALCULATOR w/case

This CURTA TYPE I CALCULATOR was a gift to my father from a business associate on one of his many trips to Vaduz, Liechtenstein during the late 1960's and 1970's. My dad never used it because the manual was lost, along with its cardboard box, soon after he received it. It remained in its plastic case in my dad's desk until his death.
This CURTA is in immaculate condition, showing no wear. The operating mechanism is flawless and smooth. Its only use was a test of its operations with the help of The Curta Calculator Page which was also used to estimate its approximate manufacture date of late July 1969.
The plastic case shows some light scuffing and is complete with the screw cap "O" ring, bottom rubber pad and padded post in the lid to prevent the machine from moving inside.
