VERY RARE! MINIATURE, TOY, DOLL GEORGIAN C1750? TANKARD
An extremely rare, possibly unique, miniature/toy floral embossed pint tankard. I have never seen one this small.
I believe this to be circa 1750 and possibly by the well known silversmith David Clayton. There is what appears to be a trace mark to the inside of the base but I cannot photograph it.
The condition is excellent and unworn with a good patina commensurate with the age.
I have photographed it next to a thimble to give an idea of size. The thimble stands approximately 2.5cm high. The tankard, from top of handle to base, is approximately 1.6cm.
A very interesting collectible item.
