Santa is coming early and making it easy to add to your stoneware lover's collection! From closets and attics, barns and sheds, some beautiful clay is getting listed over the next week.
This is one of the nicest floral pieces that I've ever come across from the Mid-Atlantic area, and believe it to be either of Baltimore or Alexandria origin because of the vertical decoration style. I've admired this beauty for a long time and have always been thankful that it has ZERO damage to it. Sure, there is a base chip, a small stone pop, and some lime inside, but have always considered that to be character and not damage.
With vibrant freehand blue all the way around this stunning 2 gallon jar, selling this one is certainly going to leave a void in my dwindling collection. As mentioned on some of my other listings, I'm moving a bunch of stuff but there is only ONE of these and its a real looker.
Its going to give me a good chuckle to see some clown bid 50 or 100 bucks for this piece right away, but I suppose they could get lucky if the power grid goes down for seven days after they place their bid.
I don't remember what this eye opener cost me but I'm going to do something VERY unusual... I'm listing this at 99 cents with NO RESERVE. Similar decorations have gone for thousands of dollars when they're marked, so decide who to attribute this one to and lets get started!
