Stunning Very Large Antique English Silver Punch Bowl Hand-Chased

Up for auction is this exquisite and impressive antique (I think) Silver Plate PUNCH BOWL made by Poston Products, Ltd., Lonsdale Silver Plate, made in Sheffield, England. It is marked on the bottom that it is Hand Chased and the decorations are three-dimensional.
Hand chasing. With this method, silver is moved with a small pointed tool and a small mallet. It is much like what you'd do if you used a stick to draw in the sand. Silver is not removed, but designs are drawn in the metal with the tool using a small mallet. This method is also used to produce a textured background in the design.
This fabulous Punchbowl measures 12” in diameter at its widest and is approximately 8” high. It holds 30 cups of liquid with about an inch to spare at the top. It is in very good condition with a few minor scratches, which can most likely be removed with a good polishing. The bottom of the inside of the bowl has some dents (see photos, which are almost non-noticeable on the outside unless you turn it over. There are no monograms, initials or social security numbers engraved in this piece. I purchased this Punch Bowl at a Denver estate sale. This impressive Silver Punch Bowl weighs 4.2 pounds (without packaging)!
