Here for auction is this magnificent vintage NIPPON PITCHER. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 7 inches wide including the solid gold handle. I am listing this as Nippon since it is Nippon and in my opinion an exquisite piece that got in the end of the Nippon era and had to be stamped Japan. But if you know Nippon then I will let you judge for yourself. It is hand-painted with lovely pink and cranberry pink roses, green leaves and stems that are designed with gold beads. The top has a over 1/4 inch wide gold circle with raised gold designs. The neck has a mint green background with circles of gold and pink roses buds that frame a lattice of raised gold trim over the soft design of roses and leaves. Please look at pictures to see the beauty of this pitcher. The large pink rose is on one side and the 2 pink roses on the other side. All roses, petals and leaves are outlined with gold beads which is rare, most times the outline is just a line of gold trim. No chips or cracks, put light rub to gold handle and a couple of ash pits. Mark is shown but I can't determine the logo design. This is truely a lovely item that I have had in my curio cabinet for 15 years. Buyer to pay actual shipping. Ebay is offering sellers a reduced listing fee when they use the Buy Now listings.
International shipping cost will be determine at close of auction.
Payment is due within 7 days. Thanks for looking.
