this is a beautiful large royal dux porcelain cockatoo figurine that has a few small flaws but still displays very nicely. there are about 3 or 4 of what i would call fissures that probably occurred during the fireing of the piece. they kind of look like cracks but they are not actual cracks. there's also a small chip on one of the tail feathers and a couple of hairlines in the glaze. one is on the wing that's about 3/4 of an inch, and the other is on the head about 1 1/2 inches above the beak. again, i want to stress that these flaws are noticeable only on close inspection and the item displays quite nicely. i photographed some of the flaws and some i couldn't.
