All items are guaranteed for age, authenticity, and accuracy of descriptions. However, we cannot guarantee that you will like what you buy or be happy with the price. Please bid carefully!! We have zero tolerance for bid retractors; all bid retractions will be forwarded to trust and safety for investigation.

Most of our auction items are offered without reserve and sold as-is. ALL SALES ARE FINAL unless we have erred regarding age, authenticity, or description of defects. (Please note that tone is subjective with musical instruments and therefore NOT a valid reason for returning an item).

I am human-- so mistakes in condition or description can occur. If there is any sort of problem buyers must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of package. Buyer assumes all shipping costs in the case of returned items. In addition, we charge a 10% restocking fee for returned items.

MONTAINE-ANTIQUES does not maintain an open shop. All items will be shipped to the purchaser. NO PERSONAL DELIVERIES OR PICKUPS-- no exceptions. QUOTED SHIPPING TERMS AND RATES ARE NONNEGOTIABLE! However, shipping discounts may apply for multiple purchases. All items will be insured as part of the quoted shipping cost. However, all items regardless of cost will be packed with loving care. We pledge never to allow a shipper any legitimate opportunity to deny a claim based on poor packing. In the extremely unlikely case of shipping damage we ask that the buyer assist in filing claims; we also reserve the right to hold refunds pending collection of insurance claims.

All payments must be submitted in U.S. dollars. We accept PayPal as well as personal checks, bank/cashier s checks, and money orders.

Payment is due within 10 days of the close of the sale unless prior arrangement is made.
