Offered this rare chandelier dates out of the mid 1900’s. Great age patina. This chandelier is truly a one of kind chandelier. Just drop dead gorgeous. With the Holidays coming up, this is just the chandelier for you. It will become the centerpiece in your house. The craftsmanship on this chandelier is really amazing. In the middle you see Madame De Pompadour. I added a picture from the original painting, so you can see the match. This picture or the painting is NOT included in this auction or sale. This is just added for your information. Madame de Pompadour was the mistress of the French King Lodewijk XV. The chandelier is made in typical rococo style. Made out of bronze. You can see 6 doves flying around Madame de Pompadour. The doves are hold by 6 cupido’s or cherubs. The detail on this beauty is really stunning. I added a lot of pictures with details. Height is 26 ½” ( this is without the chain and canopy), height including chain and canopy is 39 ½”, width is 33 ½”. This beauty has 6 arms, with each 2 lights. This gives this beauty a total of 12 lamps. This beauty works great in Europe. It will require sockets that fits the US bulbs to work in The USA. As always wiring should be checked before installing as this is an old fixture. For safe shipping, the chandelier will be shipped dissembled. Free shipping and insurance is included in shipping. Chandelier ships from Belgium. I accept Pay Pal, checks and MO. Both will need to clear prior to shipping. Thank for checking this out. If you have a minute to spare please check out my other lights @ my*beautiful*lights.
