Up for auction is a 12” Universal Terrestrial Globe by Cram's. The political borders displayed on this globe represent c 1936, an intense time line, the dawn of WWII. Italian East Africa is visible, which existed for only a short period: 1936-41.
A special feature of this model is the display of Short Wave Radio Stations world wide as of 1936. It is interesting to not that these became a favorite propaganda tool for all involved in WW2.
