This is an old one, with great rich patina from the Arts & Crafts period. I believe the finish is original, condition is lovely for its age. No issues to mention, just the normal wear from usage. It would be a wonderful holder for your Roycroft Elbert Hubbard book collection or any other antique books. There is an interesting cutout design on each end, looks like a 3 leaf clover. It's unsigned, made of quarter sawn oak. The "knock down" piece is held together by four pegs or keyed tenons which allows for easy assembly and disassembly for shipping. Not sure all pegs are original, but that's how I got it. It's 24.50" long by 7" in height and is 7"wide. This does have an extra ledge to keep books from sliding off. Super nice piece in excellent condition, comes from a smoke free home, mine.
