Up for auction is this desirable 1930's Kohler double basin kitchen sink with legs. It has a large backsplash, front apron and super deep basin. The sink is approx. 50" wide by 25 " deep by 16" High. The right basin is approx. 20 x 22", 7 " deep and the one on left is 20 x 20", 13" deep . The backsplash and front apron are each approx 8". The deep basin on the left hangs down @ 6" lower. The left drain is 3" overall, and the Right is 5 3/4". The original porcelain over cast lron legs are included as well. The legs have adjustable rods to fit desired height. When I aquired this sink it had been in a corner of a basement unused for many years. There was a large chip on upper right corner of backsplash, and see photos, it has been repaired and it is not noticeable at all. The chip was approx 2" x 6-8", and repaired with a sink and tub epoxy. If by chance you consider that bad news, here is the good. I believe this sinks chip happened very early in its life, and then was set aside for many years, unused. I have been dealing with these sinks now for many years and this one by far is one of the best I have seen. The finish of this sink is still very shinny and smooth with no pitting in the basins and is original porcelain. The drains and the chrome are also in excellent condition. The legs are excellent and the original wall brackets are included as well. The sink is 70+ years old and has been used. There is, to be expected some wear, sm nicks, chips, scratches ,etc. I list these for potential buyers to be happy with there investment. See my feedback with sinks. I do my best with the photos I take so you can see what you are getting. The pictures are of the sink you will receive if won, not a file photo of others and are current pictures as well. Please see photos, this one is certianally a beauty. Faucet required is a wall mount with 8" centers which can be found here on ebay as well, see " wall mount faucets" .This sink is very heavy, approx 250-300 lbs. The sink would be perfect for any home restoration, or a kitchen makeover. It is sure to make a statement and be a focal point. You just do not find character like this anymore and are getting more and more difficult to find, and great investment as well.
