Amazing Antique Eastlake Victorian Sofa Settee, this curvy piece is carved from top to bottom, amazing thickly carved crowns, inlaid burl walnut, button tufted back, beautiful turned legs, looks to be solid black walnut or chestnut, beautiful wood color and wood grain, pretty carved wood tassles drape from each arm. I believe it has the original chartreuse green fabric, some pictures came out looking gold in fabric, most show the the beautiful green color. i just love all the carvings and the way this piece was made with 3 separate tufted backs serpentine seat and curved backs. See our other listings for the matching arm chair and side chairs and table as well. We listed this set in 3 groups and then the table separate in case you do not have room for all of it. This would have set in a Parlor Room to greet guests, normally didn't see the same use as your normal sofa and chairs which is great since it is so well kept for future generations. As with all antique vintage items expect to find signs of wear, use, nicks or scratches, very nice piece, a bit of trim missing but easy to replace from your fabric store with some fabric glue, see all photo's.
