Here is an authentic, sturdy and well constructed HOPI COIL BASKET from about 1925! The size is 8" rim to rim, and about 5" deep. This is a really nice basket with a quality weave (about 16 stitches per inch), and although the colors have faded a little it still presents very nicely for display.
GOOD CONDITION for age- there are a few small areas of missing wrap on the rim (inner core bundle of rim is 100% intact) and on the bottom (see pics).
This is a very old basket which has a rustic look and will look great on display id your house or cabin.
