1880 Thomas Haller Vienna Regulator

Here is a beautiful old 8 day wind up German Vienna Regulator imported from Germany C 1880. It has the original key and pendulum.  It has beautiful inlaid wood etching all over it, it is hard to pick up in the pictures. This clock is in running condition. Note that this clock has no hour strike or make any noise at all other than ticking. It is called a time-only clock. It is a very nice and very LARGE clock. (40 inches tall by 15 inches wide by 6 inches deep) This clock has a trademark stamp on the movement of a T over an H, which after looking it up, I found (to the best of my knowledge) to be made by Thomas Haller in the late 1800's. The clock is in excellent condition. There is a crack in the veneering in the upper right corner of the door. It does not detract from the beauty of the clock at all.

I was told that this clock belonged to a german family and was in their home in Dresden Germany that was destroyed by allied bombing during WWII, and miraculously survived! The fifth picture shows the only damage the clock  sustained during the bombing, a little bit of charring to the finish. Nobody was in the building when it happened. Bid to own a piece of history.
