This auction is for a Scarce Victorian German Childs China Creamer in the "Father Christmas and the Children" pattern. There are 3 different scenes on the pieces to this set. Children with Santa who is holding a Christmas Tree and pulling a sled, children on sleds and children with a snowman with a Christmas tree in the background lit with candles. This creamer is the one with the snowman. You can see this pattern in Childrens Dishes by Margaret & Kenn Whitmyer. This piece measures 2 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition. There are a couple of tiny spots missing on the transfer in the area of the girls pink dress but they appear to be from the factory. The botton of this piece is slightly rough in a few places but that is also factory and is under the glaze. Colors on this piece are wonderfully clear and bright. Condition on the gold trim is also excellent. This piece is a rare find, don't miss out.
