Antique E Ingraham Oak Figure Eight Wall Clock c.1861
Up for auction is this Truly Gorgeous Oak Figure Eight Clock made by the Elias Ingraham Clock Company of Bristol, Conn. in the late 1800's. The paper label on the inside back of the lower pendulum door has a date of December 3d,1861. (
see picture
) The case is in great condition and has a Really Beautiful patina with a nice golden color that would complement any decor. The dial is a painted white tin with black Roman Numerals that is in good shape with what looks like a slight repair, This only adds to the Total Charm of this clock. This is an eight day clock. The clock runs and only looses a couple minuets a day so it probably just needs a good cleaning. For as old as this clock is that's not too bad. The clock measures 22" high by 13 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" deep. What an Awesome Christmas Present this would be for that person who loves antiques or old clocks or buy it for yourself to place on that special wall in your Beautiful Home!
