2001 CAR EQUIPMENT UTILITY TRAILER HAULER BEAVERTAIL

     Up for auction is my 2001 LE 4000 trailer. The trailer frame is made of 6” steel I-beams with 6 heavy duty “D” rings welded on, the inside frame rails are made of thick boxed C-channel steel, the deck is heavy gauge diamond plate steel, has a pintle hitch and 10,000 lb axles. The deck dimensions are 77 ½”W x 215”L (+ a 40” tongue) and the deck is approximately 24”off the ground. The tires and are about 75% (these tires are actually made for a trailer…NOT a mixed set of junkyard finds), there are no cracked lights and all of them work perfectly. There are electric brakes on ALL 4 wheels have been replaced approx 500 miles ago and are in 100% working order…I tested them using the manual override on my brake controller and they easily stop the trailer and tow vehicle. I purchased this trailer about 5 years ago to bring a car up from the deep south and then used it locally to bring the same car to various shops as well as for various small jobs around the house meaning that this trailer was never abused or used commercially. I never overworked worked it overloaded it…the most I ever had on it was a 6,000 lb SUV…which it carried without braking a sweat. This trailer has served me very well and I have NEVER had any problems with it, not that a whole lot can go wrong with a trailer. This is a very solid trailer with no rust or cracks in the welds and other than the tires lights and wiring is 100% steel. Trailer also comes with removable fenders for easier loading or unloading wide objects as well as heavy duty ramps.

     Massachusetts does not require a title for trailers registered under 3,000 lbs, should you or your state require a title I will be moiré than happy to apply for one with the Mass DMV, the buyer will be responsible for the $50.00 fee. The trailer will come with a bill of sale as well as the registration, which is the only documents needed in most states for registration. If you do not have a pintle hitch I will gladly sell the one I have for an additional $100 (It is in like new condition as I only used it when hauling this trailer, which is practically not at all).      I require a deposit of $500.00 within 72 hours of auction end (paypal is perfect) and the remaining balance due within 7 days (preferably cash when the trailer is picked up, but mailing a certified bank check is just as good…I will not accept personal checks, IOU’s, gold teeth etc…). The trailer itself must be picked up within 14 days unless other arrangements are agreed upon immediately after auction end. Thank you and happy bidding.
