This coin-operated peanut vending machine is the cast iron model of the Improved Hilo machine circa 1908. This penny machine is complete, original parts and working. This large early machine is 17" tall and weighs about 15 pounds. The black paint is not original but doesn't look new. There is a key for the back door. The original globe is very clear and in very nice condition. The globe has one bubble in the glass and some scratches about 1/2" above the back of the bottom lip. The decal is a replacement.
A nice example of a scarce early peanut machine. Looks great.
