Brown Dinner Sized Transferware Plate with Gorgeous Scenery

This auction is for a beautiful brown transferware plate by J&G Meakin, of Staffordshire, England in the Stratford Stage pattern.  This scene depicts a rural English town complete with thatched Tudor homes and cottages, and a church with a classic European steeple.  Stratford Stage is passing through...to the right and near the stream are two small children waving to the travelers.  Throughout the plate you will see several different bucolic scenes...very charming and a lovely addition to any brown transferware collection!
