Here for auction at Buy it Now or Best Offer is the Ampeg SVT VR. Used but in mint condition. The previous owner only played through it a few times before he decided to return it and go with a different ampeg amp. The amp ships with all documentation and original shipping container, and covered under Ampeg's 5 year warranty. This is a tremendous amp with amazing tone and wattage to spare. Ampeg has painstakingly recreated the classic and now sought after SVT bass amps of the 60's. This amp sounds as good as it looks!
About the SVT VR:
Tubes, tubes, and more tubes! The new Ampeg SVT-VR is a vintage
reissue of an early 1970s “Blue-Line” SVT head. The preamp stage, power
section, and even rocker switches emulate the exact signal path, tone,
and vibe of the original rock ’n’ roll workhorse. Authentic from its
input jack all the way to its six 6550 output tubes, the SVT-VR is a
must-have for rockers seeking that in-your-face Ampeg bass tone.
