FABULOUS WMF W.M.F. ART NOUVEAU JEWELLERY BOX CASKET

This is for a fabulously styled and pristine original W.M.F. art nouveau jewellery box casket from around 1900. It is a very large and impressive size and features a beautiful art nouveau design on all four sides and the lid. The lid is raised in the centre and and the base is slightly flared with bead detailing running around the very base of the box. Inside is the original green velvet lining, this lines all of the inside and it lines the underside of the lid. The box has a lock on the front which I do not have the key for, but it should be a very basic lock and key, so wouldn't prove difficult to find one. The base carries the WMF running Ostrich mark along with the usual OX I/O. It is in absolute A1 excellent condition, and i mean A1, there no dings or dents....no splits or repairs....and no scratches or wear. It really is as good as they come, It is a very functional and useful box and it displays beautifully. The base measures 195mm (7.8") by 140mm (5.5") and it stands 120mm (4.5") high.
