For auction here is a REAL early pressed glass panelled straw holder with its original metal insert. The holder is very heavy glass (nearly 3 1/2 lbs(!)) and has a tinge of purple sun color. The bottom is ground, and shows desireable wear. No chips, cracks or damage to the glass! The nickel plated lid/lift insert is original and in excellent condition, except for just a bit of wear through the plating on the lift knob. This is a scarce, genuine, early soda fountain straw holder, not a barbicide jar or a modern reproduction. Offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting bid. Buyer to pay priority post and ins.
