OLD GAS STATION / BARN RUFFLED PORCELAIN GREEN LIGHT - Here's a great old 30's - 40's light straight from an antique auction here in the Ozarks. Other than some discoloration around the edges this old light is in near perfect condition. There are no dents or bends. We've ran across a few of these in the past but this is the best one ever. It is all original...not one of the cheap reproductions. The green porcelain shade is 19-3/4" diameter and 5" deep. From the outer tip of the shade to the mounting flange is approximately 40". The gooseneck mounting pipe is heavy steel pipe...not cheap conduit like on the repros. The light has been disassembled, cleaned and the gooseneck has been painted. It's ready for mounting. The orginal porcelain light socket is very heavy duty and accepts a standard light bulb. All of the wire & shade mounting screws are the original brass ones. It was originally made to have two external wires coming from the two round ears you see in the pic. It can be wired that way with exposed wires or the wires can be run through the gooseneck. We will wire it for you either way you choose. We will also include 3 lag bolts & washers for mounting. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. I will be shipping Fedex because Fedex gives us discount we do not get with UPS, they are a day faster, cheaper, and safer. Had to list under UPS but shipping will be cheaper than what u see I think.
