 Ancient alabaster alabastron; perfume, oil, unguent flask with two vestigial handle protrusions.  Nice color and surface patina.  Loss to rim as shown, otherwise good condition.  "Thebes" is marked lightly in pencil on upper rim surface, ostensibly to denote the area of origin.  From old collection.  Estimated age is Late Period (712-332 BC).
Length = 3.75 inches (9.5 cm.)
