Very Rare, original, 1931 Illustrated Catalog of Shotguns manufactured by the Ithaca Gun Company of Ithaca, New York. This fantastic, fully priced and illustrated catalog measures approx. 13 3/4” x 8 1/2” and contains 20 pages of descriptions and illustrations of Shotguns for Hunting and Trap Shooting. Also included is the original, illustrated, full page Order Form and the original, illustrated paper wraps. Please be assured - this is NOT a reprint or reissue Catalog but an original Catalog - printed and distributed in 1931. The Catalog is fully titled on the illustrated front cover "The New Ithaca Gun / 1931". The Cover features an image of a beautiful double barrel Shotgun and a view of Canadian Geese in a wetlands landscape. Besides listing, picturing and pricing the various models and gauges of Shotguns manufactured by Ithaca in 1931, the Catalog also includes 4 pages at the center of portraits and short bios of various "Prominent Shooters Who Use Ithacas". Also of special interest is a full page presentation of the "Ithaca Auto and Burglar Gun" the "so called 'sawed-off shotgun' which hold up men fear". This is basically a double barreled Shotgun with s pistol grip and belt holster - surely the perfect gift for that bank robber on your Christmas list!!!!
This fantastic, original, 1931 Ithaca Shotgun Catalog is bound in its original, illustrated paper wraps which are in good condition -well preserved and very attractive but detached. The front cover and the rear cover plus the full page order form are detached but exhibit only light edge wear. The interior pages are in very good condition - complete and tight - clean and with light edge wear only. The Catalog retains its original, braided, red silk string binding. Again we must stress - this is not a reproduction, restrike, reprint or later copy - this is an original, period, 1931 Illustrated Ithaca Shotgun Catalog and will make a fantastic addition to any collection!!!
Overseasshippping is extra and cost will be quoted at bidders request. Massachusetts residents must add 5% sales tax. Insurance is required on all items selling for $100 or more and optional on items selling for under $100 (but highly recommended) and not available on International Shipping.

The amount quoted for Shipping & Handling is calculated by eBay and is equal to the EXACT amount charged by the Post Office plus a $1.00 "packing fee" - the $1.00 fee is our only compensation for the virgin packing materials we use on all of our professionally packaged boxes as well as our cost for the salaried help that does most of our packing - as I am sure you can see, we make NO profit on the Shipping charges and, in fact, our costs are usually greater than the $1.00 fee.
