Tanto Koshirae
Item: Koshirae for Tanto
( Ai-kuchi Tanto )
This Tsuka is made of wood,
is decorated with black lacquered Kizami-Nuri,
is equipped with Fuchi Kashira
( iron : silver inlay on Tsuchime-ji : design of arabesque ),
and a pair of Menuki
( Suaka : Kata-bori carving, Kin-Iroe : design of Kara-Jishi lion ).
The wooden Saya is black lacquered Kizami-nuri,
is equipped with Kojiri
( iron : silver inlay on Tsuchime-ji : design of arabesque ),
and Kurikata
( iron : Ke-bori carving, Suaka inlay, Kin-Iroe, design of wood grain ).
The Shakudo Kozuka handle is decorated with
Suemon, Suaka inlay, Kin-Iroe on Nanako-Ji,
design Dragon and dragon ball with sword.

The iron Kozuka-blade is great forged
Fuchi Kashira and Kojiri
is made by same craftsman of Higo.

Damage : No major damaged ; a little wear and scar, rusty,
laccquer-dirt on Kanagu,
Renewed parts : lacquer repainted newly on Tsuka and Saya
