An amazing item, this game originated from the Malacca Kingdom where it became popular and spread into South East Asia. It is thought that the game was made for the king and family, along with the palace residents, but soon spread to the general population.
The game requires concentration and speed, and can even be played with by children who want to improve their mathematical skills.
The board is shaped like a boat with two dragon heads on each end, based on a legend of a fisherman unable to go to sea during rainy season who lost income during that time. It was made to prevent boredom.
