(AK-BEAR-6)  You are bidding on a beautifully carved small POLAR BEAR in walrus ivory (hand carved by Genelle Patkotak Okpeaha from Barrow, Alaska, an Inupiat Native Eskimo we have come to know).  The carving with base measures 1-1/8" tall x 5/8" wide.  Comes with full information card.

THIS IS AN ALASKAN NATIVE HANDICRAFT. The Inupiat & Inuit Eskimo Native people are a subsistence people and make their living from using every part of the whale, walrus,  & seal they hunt.  Their hunting is carefully regulated by various commissions to be sure they are not over-hunted.  We are proud to share their work for others to enjoy.

U.S. Shipping only for this item containing walrus ivory due to the Marine Mammal Act.
