This is your unique opportunity to win an extraordinary and exceedingly rare matching set of Art Deco Modernist wall sconces, manufactured in the 1930`s in Paris, France. Both of the sconces are marked with FR in the rear and can be attributed to the famous Jean Perzel ( he designed the lighting for the Luxembourg Cathedral, Maharajah of Indore, Henry Ford in Detroit, the Palace of the League of Nations in Geneva in 1935 etc., these lights have a very similar design but are much more luxurious hence the gilding....).
Featuring two gorgeous high style gilded brass half hemispherical shades with underneath a skyscraper alike geometrical ornament consisting of two cut crystal rectangular rods flanked by gilded brass ornaments....just look at all those intricate details.... The inside from the shades are repainted in eggshell ( the old paint was deteriorated an started to chip off.... ) and still have their original darkbrown bakelite bulb holders ( Edison E 27 type).
The shades give a soft and atmospheric roomfilling light to the ceiling and an awesome seafoam colored illumination through the crystal rods!! The lamps work perfect on 110/125/220 Volt and require an Edison E 27 type of bulb. When they are attached to the wall ( you can hard-wire them on the wall or use cords with switches if desired ) on their desired spot you are all set to enjoy their beauty...........they look as impressive during the day as at night! This stunning set is a true must-have for any Art Deco / Modernist interior or collection, even in a contemporary interior this set will become a highlight!

This set is in excellent condition with the original gilding ( still very lustrious ) and only some very minor signs of use ( absolutely no damage or missing pieces! ) , considered normal with period pieces and only underlines the authenticity!
