This is an old Vintage Toshiba  8 Transistor Radio , It does come on but makes a squealing noise when your turn the station dial. This is a no-reserve 5 day auction, It comes with a leather case marked Japan and Toshiba as you can see from the pictures. I have not tried to clean it , It's just as I bought it a few years ago. It measures 2-3/4 inches wide and 4-3/8 long. It uses one 9 volt battery...
