• Vintage Amphora by Artist Paul Dachsel in the Turn-Teplitz Austria Region
• A twisted Hard Earthenware vase designed by Paul Dachsel and hand decorated in mottled studio glazes in the manner of French Studio pottery of the 1890's
• Found in the book by  R. L. Scott, The House of Amphora 1890-1915
• Size - 6.5 x 3 7/8 "
• Period - Art Nouveau
• Excellent Condition
• Country of Origin: Austria
• Year made: 1900

• The body of this piece is given to an organic form by twisting diagonal ribs that culiminate in a strait lip
• The mark is the customary Amphora in the oval and also has an embossed cipher that indicates that this object was hand finished on the potters wheel.  There are also the embossed numbers 3543  and two letters that look like P D
• Really pretty

  ·        All items are packed carefully. We take no responsibility for damaged or lost packages. For this reason, we ship every package with insurance. If you do not wish to purchase insurance, please make that request known to us.

• Illinois residents will be charged 6.25% sales tax. Anyone paying and picking up locally must also pay Illinois sales tax as required by law. Good luck bidding! 

• All mechanical and electrical items are sold untested and as found unless otherwise noted in the description.
• If the item is working well, we will note it.
• Since we are not experts in all fields of collectibles, we appreciate questions before the auction ends from those who know
• All items will be sent parcel post-with a Confirmation delivery number.
• WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY!
• We only ship the the Americas & Canada
• If the buyer wants to upgrade to Priority Mail, let us know and we will send you a new check out form.
• A confirmation delivery number is not a tracking number - this number is scanned in when the post office receives and delivers the package to your door. But it does show the trail the package takes through each post office. 
•  Insurance is required on all items. 
• We are a retail /resale store open Tuesday - Friday and every other Saturday. 
• We do not return emails over the weekend.  We will return every email or my message on Tuesday Morning.So if you do not get a response right away and it is the weekend it is because we are CLOSED for business.
