Decoration Tube lining, raised lines that separate the different colours and also helps outline design (thin line of clay is piped to do this).

This tile design was included in Cattalogue of this company in 1905 in preface of a recently issued book (ref. Dover publications Inc.) we can read "Not intended as art (thought some of the panels were designed by named artist ), these art Nouveau creations - those that survive - are prized for their beauty and their charm."
- CONDITION: This tile is in good condition, no flaws or repairs exist just minimal chips on white area so not easily seen. Cement on reverse was carefully removed so minimal traces are remaining. Surface, as you can see, has a firm color and smooth glaze surface. Only minimal scratches and tiny chips may be seen, but this is nothing for a more than 100 year old architectural piece.
