The whole clock was made of wood comprising a wooden chamber housing the clock movements and a wooden framework in front decorated with carved leaves and a removable bird & leaves roof top.  It is a one day chain/weight driven clock and every half hour and an hour the small window will open and the bird will pop out its head and give  'cuckoo'  sounds based on what hour it is.  Roman numerals on the dial. Item is in its original packaging with complete outfits/parts: the adjustable wooden pendulum, two metallic weights, the removable carved wooden bird piece for roof top,  and installation instruction paper in languages of English, Chinese, and a few European nations. Its back has a golden color label which says Schwarzwaelder Uhren-Zentrum Familie Drubba, Titisee.  Its instruction paper is stamped HOFGUT STERNEN, Breitnau. Its movement is carved 'Made in Germany' and numbered.  You need to hang the clock at least 2 meters high from the floor of the wall. Breitnau is in Germany's Black Forest.  Measurements (all approx.):  clock movement chamber 5 x 4 x 4" ,  extension of the carved wooden frameboard from the bird on the removable roof top to bottom 9" tall and 6" wide, clock dial diameter  2.5";  total wt.  2.6 kg.
