Welcome! I have been busy finding the best items you can find and scouring the big antique shows and getting first pick for all the best items. I will pay more for items from dealers prior to them setting up at antique shows, estate sales, auctions. I buy only the best and have an eye for superb style and quality. I have pickers who come to me from all over the country with fresh to the market antiques, decorative arts, and everything in between. I am sure you all would agree that good quality pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to find on ebay let alone the shows, estate sales, auctions, etc. I work very hard to find these items and this is what separates me apart from the rest. You will not find the items I offer again and you can trust my discerning eye to find superb quality.
Please take into full consideration that our starting price in NO way reflects what we have into the items listed. We trust in the ebay system and believe the market will find the right prices for the pieces. We go to great lengths to bring the finest quality on ebay with NO reserves. Many people are astounded at the quality we consistently offer and are repeat buyers. Often times we put collections together just so that you will have a choice within that category.. Often times you will search ebay for quality antiques and there will be few if ANY bids on many of the items. Many people are very suprised to see there are bids on all of my items. I don't think there are too many sellers out there willing to let the market decide the true value of an object I ABSOLUTELY INTEND TO SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. It's not unusual for me to spend a day or two driving to an auction or working with estate sellers to find one or two good items that week and list them on ebay only to sell an item at a loss. I work at the fringe of current market trends and know what people are looking for. I often see my items at antique shows selling for three, four times what they sold for here on ebay. I strive to get the best. we work to provide the best items possible with few problems. Please keep an eye out every week for new items I will be listing. This Spring and summer we will impress you with the same fine quality we have been offering, at "No" reserves and our consistent $9.99 start to our auction. In no way does this reflect what we have invested in these items. We ship all over the world..
Here we have an Important and Rare Chamberlains Worcester Royal full complete service for 12 of large Armorial Family Crested hand painted heavy gold gilt dinner plates. I am honestly speechless to have been able to acquire this set. This came from the estate of Joyce Kilmer. I purchased many pieces from his estate. Just Google him and see who we are talking about. When I got the list of items this set was most likely a set made for Royalty. I believe these are extremely important and most likely made for an important family or Royalty in England at the time of manufacture. I can say it's almost impossible to find a complete service for 12 in such amazing condition. To find the gold intact like it is, is Museum level and with the extremely fine and rare cobalt celeste blue base colors that Worcester so tried to copy Sevres style. Either way these are Period ca.1800 Tight scalloped gold gilt armorial dinner plates with an incredible armorial center on each one with NO fading at all of the crests. I just can't believe the condition of these. The crests have what looks to be a big horn sheep or goat and it reads "Spare Nought" ~ "Malum Bono Vince" Certainly amazing with the condition of the gold and crests. Each plate measures 10 1/4" and have little gold loss aside from the very edges and these have slight loss as expected. The blue is superb and some slight fading only in a few areas. Each Crest is surrounded by three incredible Cartouched precise hand painted floral bunches. The work is fantastic. Honestly some of the finest I have ever seen. They speak for themselves. No restorations on any of them and no cracks and I only spot 4 plates that have a few nicks at the edges. However, you cannot tell because of the minute scalloping of the border. They are there and are of no issue with respect to the history, provenance and rarity these present. Do not let them slide through your hands. Each dinner plate has Chamberlains Worcester mark New Bond Street London, and Royal Porcelain manufacture beneath this. The underglaze mark is red.or maroon. I will ship these to the UK if you need them. I pack very well. These are great rare examples only going to rise in value. Musuem quality.
No reserve as always. We accept check or money order (preferred) and also take paypal. We ship Anywhere in the world
We do not charge a handling fee with shipping. We are now listing shipping price, but please take into consideration these prices are "Without" insurance and we ask that you "WAIT" to pay for won items after the auction so we may add the necessary Insurance (required) into the invoice. Again! Do not pay for the item until we send you an invoice through ebay. These prices are also for East coast costs and West of the Rockies will require an additional charge. It's not us as the USPS has raised their rates 1/3. We ship Priority and pack very, very well. Insurance is included in all shipping prices. Our prices are very good. I know you will be happy. Please remember that all items are sold "as is" and sold that way, unless I make a mistake in the description.
Someone asked a question the other day about "Private Auctions" and asked me why I do them. The answer is simple, In the past, many of my high bidders have been sent "Fake" invoices asking to be paid for that auction by scammers pretending to be Entourage1. This is for "Your" security. I am sorry, but I can't trust ebay's either. I have to protect my bidders. Another important point is that many of my bidders were asking me to make the list private because they did not want their names or accounts published. If they keep the names private during the auction, why list the high bidders name. I sell high end antiques and this really involves dealers, buyers and others who want to remain well "Private" Do you stand up at the end of a high end auction or any auction for that matter and Shout "My name is Maude Williams" after you win the item NO you don't!!!! I myself really don't want others to know what I pay for an item. It's really nobody's business. People can still track and item for what it sells for an be "Confident" in knowing I don't doctor bids and stand by the credo of morals, market price, and money. I wish I could be as transparant as scotch tape, but because of the infestation of scammers out there, you just have to trust in someone. In my auctions, you see what you get. That's what "Todays" current value of that item. Though on ebay one never knows! We have seen stellar prices for items that turned out to be winners. I do want to add a however. I see many of the items my customers purchase from me at shows, and auctions I attend going for double what they paid here. While I believe I set the price, I also believe I set the standard.
Please look at my "Sellers Other items page" for a look at all of our best items we are listing this month. Many of these are superb. We believe these are the best pieces and it should be an important decision. All sales are final, and are as is.
We do our best to answer "All" questions asked of us. I will do my best to get back to you within 24 hours.
